About CelsiusFahrenheit.co

Last updated: February 28, 2026

Our Mission

CelsiusFahrenheit.co provides fast, accurate temperature conversion tools for students, professionals, and everyday users worldwide. Every conversion uses the internationally defined formula consistent with the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90).

How We Ensure Accuracy

All calculations use double-precision floating-point arithmetic (IEEE 754), providing at least 15 significant decimal digits of internal precision. Results are rounded for display clarity. Our conversion factors follow the definitions established by the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM).

Editorial Policy

Content is reviewed periodically for accuracy against authoritative sources including NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and BIPM publications. Factual claims about temperature scales reference peer-reviewed research. Last editorial review: February 2026.
